Southern Poland  tour: Only the most beautiful and important sights in the world get the title “UNESCO World Heritage”. A lot of them can be seen in Poland. You will discover the most beautiful of them during the trip!

Day 1: Swidnica – Wroclaw

Your Southern Poland tour starts in Swidnica. There is a Protestant Peace Church, that belongs to Europe’s largest wooden sacred structures. Journey to Wroclaw.

Overnight stay in Wroclaw.

Day 2: Wroclaw – Cracow

In the morning guided tour of Wroclaw. Visit the market, Aula Leopoldina from the 18th century, Wyspa Piaskowa (Sand Island), Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island) and the Centenary Hall. Transfer to Cracow.

Overnight stay in Cracow.

Day 4: Cracow – Auschwitz – Kalwaria Zebrzydowska – Cracow

Today travel to Oswiecim/Auschwitz. Visit the largest former concentration camp in Poland. Continue to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska with its famous Bernhardine Monastery. Then you can walk up the Kalwaria Track. Return to Krakow.

Overnight stay in Cracow.

Day 5: Cracow – Wieliczka – Zamosc

Excursion to Wieliczka. Visit one of the oldest salt mines with countless underground chapels. Continue to Lipnica Murowana, where you will find one of the most valuable wooden churches from the 15th century.

Overnight stay in Zamosc.

Day 6: Cracow – Warsaw

Today visit the town of Zamosc, built in the Italian Renaissance style. You will see the town hall at the big Market Square, surrounded by lovely houses, the cathedral. Continue to Warsaw.

Day 7: Warsaw – Torun (Thorn)

A guided tour of Warsaw will show you the beauty of this city: the nicely restored Royal Castle, the old town and Lazienki Park. In the afternoon you will travel on to Wilanów Palace. Continue to Torun, the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus.

Overnight stay in Torun.

Day 8: Torun – Poznan

Thorn is characterised by a lot of medieval monuments like the City Hall, or the house “Zum Stern”. During a city walk you will be charmed by the charm of the city. Continue to Poznan.

Day 9: Poznan – journey home

After a guided tour of Poznan it’s time to say good bye to your Southern Poland tour the UNESCO sites in Poland or book your further travel programme.
