Day 3: České Budějovice – Hluboká – Třeboň – České Budějovice
South Bohemia Tour: After breakfast the trip to the castle Hluboká begins. The castle Hluboká – due to its character, original furnishings and a vast park – is a significant Romantic monument in the European context. The chateau Hluboká was founded as a guarding castle in the 13th century. During the centuries several aristocratic families lived here. One of the most significant families was the Family of Pernstejn, who founded the nearby fishpond Bezdrev in 1490. In 1661 the chateau Hluboká was bought by Schwarzenbergs who owned the castle until 1939.
In the late afternoon you came back to the hotel. It is possible to book a farewell party at the hotel or a rustical restaurant. Dinner and accommodation in České Budějovice.
