Since 1634, the world’s most famous Passion play has taken place every 10 years in Oberammergau, Bavaria. The residents of Oberammergau have presented the Passion Play, a performance depicting the final stage of Jesus’ life, for a period of weeks during the summer. In 2020, it will be performed for the 42nd time.

The 2020 season, comprising 102 performances over 5 nights a week, runs from May to October.
