Day 1 - Berlin:
Guided tour of the city including a visit to the Bauhaus Archive
and the Museum of Technology and Transport.
Day 2 - Potsdam:
Visit to the Borsig steam engine in the Moorish mosque and the old
UFA film studios in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
Day 3 - Dresden:
Tour of the city including a ride on one of the oldest cableways.
Boat trip on the river Elbe on a paddle steamer.
Day 4 - Dresden and Meissen:
Outing to Moritzburg and Meissen including a journey on an original
19th century railway and a visit to Meissen’s china manufactory.
Day 5 - Weimar:
Extended walk through the town including a visit to the first
building in the Bauhaus-style and the School of Arts and Crafts.
Day 6 - Bad Lauchstädt and Dessau:
Guided tour of the Goethe Theatre with its baroque stage machine.
Tour of the Bauhaus and the Bauhaus estate in Dessau.
Day 7 - Journey home/Further programmes.
